I sing christmas songs all year.
Why?
Because I know the words. The actual, goodness, true words. Can't say the same for most songs. But their are the odd few that stand out. That move me to tears. Probably the same for you. I want to know the songs. Not just the lyrics though.. I want to know WHY they move you. WHY they inspire you. WHY you love them

That new country song.. laughed until we cried (Jason Aldean???). I LOVE that song, ever verse. Why? Heres why...
My Grandparents are getting older.. and the line (we all knew it might be his last) when he's talking about his grandpa... oh boy. I truly, truly appreciate everything my grandparents have done for me.. and the thought of losing them kills me. The fact that this family is still laughing.. I want that. I want to make sure they know I love, they know how much they were cared for.. I want to reminisce and be together with everyone and make some more memories. Even though their going to live forever. I just decided.
The next verse... where he's rocking the baby and "my mind went back to a few years ago, we tried so hard we almost gave up hope. and I remember her coming in and telling me the news. Oh man we were living, going crazy in the kitchen. We laughed and ? an held each other tight.. and we laughed until we cried." (not a direct quote.. im terrible with lyrics remember?)
Why? Becausewhen Lance and I found out about Ty we were terrified. We were 19, living in seperate cities, just old enough to vote and drive and drink (not all at the same time.. although from the looks of the people nominated you might not agree. I digress) We were happy, don't get us wrong, we had planned on having kids... someday. And someday was coming awfully soon. I regret that we didn't get to do the whole, trying, anticipating, pregnancy test wrapped in a blue bow happy crazy kitchen dance. I had to tell him over the phone. Not as cool. Maybe with the next one... TRICKED YOU. Ty's going to be an only child.. no one with a 2 year old wants more. They are crazy. CRAZY if they do.
So thats my song... only one of them. I need to go make this layout. What can you come up with.
