Its cold, and snowy and cold and miserable here but i have the last sword of truth book so I'm all snuggled in, half listening to Diego. Ty's not feeling great so we're having a quiet day, which is kind of nice. I rocked it on Guitar Hero while he napped, with a friend of mine. SO hard! But fun.

In other news... I've been trying to send a personal email back to everyone who has applied to the design team thus far, but am failing miserably. If I haven't gotten back to you yet, I apologize, and do really appreciate your submission.

It's such a difficult thing to do, much harder than i first anticipated. I really don't want anyone to feel as though their work was judged as being "not good enough". I've felt that feeling before and it sucks! I've just tried so far, to look for people who's personal styles compliment the kit, and work well with mine and the direction I am going in. It places no reflection whatsoever on your layouts! Everyone has such beautiful work!

I got a Making Memories desk top carousel, and I have to say it totally rocks! So pretty, and reasonably priced and ugh. I need the rest of the pieces not.. and maybe a whole new room! HA!

Anyways, my hot chocolate is beeping in the microwave (I'm forever heating something up) and I must get back t my book. If you've made it through my rambling leave a comment, and I'll pick a winner in the next few days, I have a large stack of things to give away :)

Sneak Peeks!

Here are a few sneak peeks for the December kits, and a cute one of my little guy just for fun :) Plus some of a Christmas decorations I've been working on.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Christmas. Started decorating few weeks ago. I made it my goal this year to MAKE all of my decorations (I'm still using the few that we owned before.) The first year Lance and I lived together we only had a small tree because I was pregnant, and Ty 2 months early (December 21). Last year we only decorated the top half because he was crawling all around so I didn't need that many decorations. Point of the story is, we have three trees this year and not nearly enough tot fill 'em up. So I'm making all this Rebbecca sower ish flowers to hang from one of the trees, used making memories pp to make all on one tree and am having a button themed big tree. Plus making those Tia Bennett button trees (3) for the top of the TV stand. Where do they all go you ask?

The 3 footer is on a coffee table, the big tree will be in the corner of the room, we have a little one in the bathroom, the three on the TV stand, and possibly one more for Ty's room with paper ornaments.

Did I mention I love Christmas? ha. Now for some pictures!

Its a beautiful, albeit chilly day here. Have I ever mentioned how much I hate the cold? Well I do, and the fact I live in Kamloops, which gets down well below zero does nothing for me. I grew up in White Rock, where the ocean does a lot to regulate the temperatures. It's always front page news if it snows down there!

Checked my email already, and was very happy to see all the applicants for the Design Team Call, people get on it really quickly! It's going to be a very tough decision, Anam was lovely to have around. Keep in mind the number of people, and if we weren't able to add you, know that it wasn't because we didn't want to!

Welcome, Welcome.

To those of you who have never had the opportunity to check out Fresh Pages Co. We are a monthly kit company that is currently doing 2 kits a month, though we had the grand idea of doing ten! Our kits are designed by our customers. Its a new concept but one that has been really enjoyable to work with.

We are currently searching for 2 design team members to replace Anam Stubbington with. She undertook a 4 month term, which is what we are looking for in our new members. Each member will receive one of our 2 kits every month to play around with, along with any extra kits we do and some goodies just for fun.

In return we require a minimum of 4 layouts/cards/projects to be completed by the 10th of each month. We would also like you to post them in other galleries with credit given to Fresh Pages for putting the kit together.

Hello everyone,
It looks like the new kits for novembr didn't load as they should have. I'm in Seattle this weekend taking in the CKC and do not hve access to a computer for long, or any of my files, so the new kits will go up on Tuesday. So sorry if thats any trouble to you! The kits are pretty cool, and well worth the wait!

Seattle is awesome, took some pics with Lisa, and soem classes with Ali and cropped our little hearts out. Talk with you all again soon!
