Challenge 2

What a wild week! Things are getting a little bit crazy around here. Great job though to anyone who has started our little challenge contest! The winner will be posted shortly!

Challenge 2 involves using tape. Decorative tape, masking tape, correction tape... Check out the USA layout in the October gallery, I used correction tape to create the stripes on my background page. A little messy, a little odd but i love the results. So get your tape out and CREATE!!!

No flickr gallery yet because of course, i forgot. Oy. Will do this week. This weekend I'll be in Seattle for the Creating Keepsakes Convention with my sister. Just a fun little trip but if anyone recognizes me they will receive some very cool prizes!

OH, and on a sidebar, I got into Creative Escape next year! Entered the lottery not thinking I had much of a chance, than BAM. So excited!

The Challenge begins...

Welcome to week one of the "Inspire me!" challenge! With a 3 month subscription hanging in the balance plus plenty of weekly kits and encouragement you'll want to join in too! Feel free to join in anytime, anyone-anywhere is our motto (we don't like to leave people out!).

Layouts must be sent in by the Sunday before the next challenge in order to qualify for the weekly prize, layouts can be sent to either fresh.pages@gmail (file size under 500k) and/or posted to our flickr group (link will be posted by Wednesday.  Layouts can be any size!

New challenges to come every Monday for the next 6 weeks, with the contest ending November 30th. Winners will be posted every Wednesday with December 3rd being the Grand Prize announcement.

We of course, encourage people to use our kits and though its not necessary to be eligible you will be entered into a separate draw to thank you for your support!  Ready?

CHALLENGE 1:

Use Type to create the main design elements of your page. Large stamps, your own writing, script papers ( like the love, elsie roxie math class thats included in City Nights) will all work perfectly.

Words have the power to create, destroy, lift spirits and change the world. Letters create words. 26 letters that work together to make magic. Use them!

Sneak Peek!!!

November is coming up quickly! We still have some October kits left for those who have been considering them, keep in mind the Spooktacular kits now features 3 more papers (flocked, shimmer and glittered) for the SAME PRICE!

Novembers kits were designed by myself, entitled "My Favorites part 2", and a second kit by our very own Miss Anam Stubbington. She designed a b-e-a-utiful kit entitled "Eastern Flames" Its a mini-book kit and comes with the Maya Road 4 by 8 landscape binder which is soooo nice to with! .

Pre-orders will be accepted, just send an email to freshpages.kit@gmail.com and we'll send along a paypal invoice. They'll be shipped out a little early even :)

So you want to know how to enter the contest??? I'm sure you do.

           First off it is a 6 week contest. Everyone can join it at any point, but you have a better chance of winning if you enter from the beginning. Each week we will bring you a different challenge, sketch or piece of inspiration. You create a layout with that in mind, hopefully using One of our kits but not required. (You do get a bonus entry if its our kit!!!)  You'll send it in to us at the end of the week. For every layout you send in you get an entry in the GRAND PRIZE draw! There are weekly prizes too!!!!!!!! This contest is open to anyone, anywhere. Limit one layout per challenge. Can be any size, but must be a layout. More details to follow!

This is being revised to say MAXIMUM 6.00, MAXIMUM 10.00, and MAXIMUM 13.00 for a single kit.

If it is less you will be charged actual shipping, more and I will cover the remainder. More than one kit and it is actual shipping.

Fresh Pages Co. is based on the idea of collaboration between people from all over the world. We accept submissions from anyone, anywhere. Different styles, different prices, different backgrounds are all represented and appreciated.

No month will be the same. And that's what makes it exciting and fresh and new.

We started based on a dream of one person and have grown to encompass many. I have been overwhelmed at the response and the willingness of other people in business to share their ideas, their strategies and their advice. It just goes to show you that scrap booker's really are the best people in the world!

Our goal here at Fresh Pages Co. is to offer outstanding customer service in addition to offering both the latest and greatest in Scrapbooking, along with classic timeless pieces to back those trends up with. A little something for everyone. And if you don't find what you like... Tell us what YOU'D like and perhaps it will be you soon with your name and picture up there.

This idea has been a long time in coming and originated when I started to look for a kit company to subscribe to. I couldn't find exactly what I wanted and so this was born. A place where ANYONE can submit an idea for a kit.

Where there are different kits every month with new designers, new looks, different price points. Everything you've ever wanted in a kit company. It has been a pleasure working with our designers this month, and we hope you'll submit an idea to us too!

We want to give everyone a chance to see what its like to become a part of the process. A lot of work went into this debut so I'd like to thank everyone who has helped me with advice, or submitted an idea, or gave me hope that this was the right choice for me.
